Recertification 4 Easy Steps

  Complete 20 hours of APTE-Approved continuing education credits 2.0 (old 15 CECs) during your two-year certification renewal cycle. 

The beginning and end dates of your APTE Certification cycle is the time period in which you must complete your continuing education. 

It is every two years from your original certification date. 

 CECs from APTE courses are automatically entered into your My APTE Account.  

APTE home study courses must be uploaded using the button below.  

 Courses that have not yet been APTE-pre-approved can be petitioned for credit.

CECs can only be applied toward the renewal cycle in which they are completed. 

Click upload to submit or petition NON-APTE CECs for approval.

  Update your CPR/AED information

As exercise professionals, it's vital that we are prepared if a client experiences any life-threatening event. 

You may register below for an APTE live course or to view AHA CPR AED courses click here. You may choose a course that has an online portion, but it MUST include live practical skill training.

  Renew your AAPTE Certification

Once you have complete all your requirements for recertification, simply click the "Ready to Recertify " button below or on your My APTE Account, agree to the Recertification Application Truth of Information statement and submit your application. 

Then go to checkout and pay the renewal fee. Done!
