This course is very different from our other courses because there is no PowerPoint presentation of the sciences. It was created for a hands-on skill-building experience. 100% of the course is on the GYM floor doing practical hands-on.

 The participant will experience a variety of resistance training exercises for the LOWER EXTREMITY. We focus on methods of cueing and practical hands-on skill-building to create an unmatched exercise experience in the GYM. This course is directed toward giving the participant an increased understanding of exercise application and methods of cueing through hands-on training AND how to alter mechanics, influence muscle participation, and use cueing to increase the sensory response to exercise.

Objectives:

Learn to assess, set up, and progress the exercise.

Understand how and when to manipulate and alter exercise mechanics to improve movement efficiency and adaptive responses.

Influence movement patterns and muscle contraction action through cueing.

You will experience a variety of lower extremity exercises. During the hands-on practical, we will focus on cueing and manipulating lines of force and joint angles to create an unmatched exercise experience for your clients.

Understand the importance of neuro-intention and its relationship to managing a client's skill and performance.
